With July in full swing it’s safe to say that living in Vancouver leaves us with no shortage of things to do. Apart from the beautiful scenery, Vancouver is also home to a slew of fabulous patios and host to several highly anticipated events – so many so, that deciding on which ones to attend can become quite overwhelming. And because we’re all about helping you save time, our butlers have narrowed down four can’t miss events and activities, perfect to squeeze into the calendar before Labour Day.

Honda Celebration of Light:

Lucky for us Vancouverites, Canada Day isn’t the only night to catch fireworks during the summer. This year’s friendly competition takes place July 23 (Netherlands), July 27 (Australia), and July 30 (USA) over English Bay. Grab your friends, pull up some beach, and sit back and take in what is sure to be three amazing light shows, beginning each night at 10PM rain or shine. For more details, click here.

Into the Woods:

With hundreds of near-by parks, beaches, and lakes to choose from with Insta-worthy views, it’s obvious why camping is one of BC’s most popular summer activities. Having trouble picking a spot? Some of our favourites include Cultus Lake, anywhere around Tofino, and Harrison Hot Springs. If your camping essentials are still in storage with us, give us a call and one of our butlers will deliver it to you within 24 hours!

Fair at the PNE:

Unleash your inner child during a day at the PNE Fair followed by a night of musical fun. Running August 20 to September 5, it will feature hundreds of new performances and exhibits (think Alien Worlds & Androids and Angry Birds Universe), and more than 50 rides and attractions. The best part? It’s totally acceptable to leave with a cotton candy in one hand a bag of mini donuts in the other. Find the full schedule here.

Stanley Park:

Looking for a relaxing and easy day out? Stanley Park is the perfect venue to host a picnic or picturesque bike ride with a group of friends. Have family visiting from out of town? Treat them to sightseeing the old-fashioned way, with Stanley Park’s horse-drawn tours (find their schedules/rates here.. In the mood for a feel-good flick? The Evo Summer Cinema Series is back from July 5 to August 23! Just bring your lawnchairs and blankets and be ready to cozy down as soon as the sun sets. Find the full movie schedule here.
